About

Give the gift of creativity and transform the lives of children and young people in care.

If you're looking to send a special message to a loved one, why not make a donation to The Mighty Creatives and send them one of our e-cards?

Our work with care-experienced children and young people has shown the importance of building trusted, meaningful relationships with adults. Young people navigating the social care system will have a variety of supporting adults around them. But the children and young people who are receiving our award-winning Creative Mentoring service can often feel overlooked, unheard and like they have don't have agency in their lives - or decisions about their lives.

When it comes to Creative Mentoring, everything a young person does or explores with their Creative Mentor is led by them and backed-up by social pedagogy. It provides an opportunity for a young person's needs and voices to come first, in a safe and supportive space, using the power of creativity and artistic practice. Due to their lived experience, our young people may be distrusting of adults or struggle to develop secure, positive relationships with the adults in their lives.

Give the gift of creativity and your donation will help to ensure we reach even more unheard young people through Creative Mentoring.

These cards have been designed and created by students at Berry Hill Primary School.
